Jean Shirley Hatmaker, age 81, of Wilderville, went to be with our Lord December 9, 2017.
Jean was born September 30, 1936 in Parkwood, Pennsylvania to Arthur & Edna Weiss. She was the oldest of six children. In 1980 she moved from Burney, California to Wilderville.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Selma, Oregon. She especially enjoyed singing, sewing, quilt making, and gardening.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, John Hatmaker of Wilderville; sister, Darla (Jim) Phillips of Valley City, Ohio; brother, Bill Weiss of Parkwood, Pennsylvania; daughter, Kathy (Lorenzo) Ladiner of Berea, Ohio; son, Terry Manner of Berea, Ohio; daughter, Beth (Pat) Chanley of Yachats, Oregon; son, Mike Hahn of Jacksonville, Oregon; granddaughter, Jasmine (Brian) McCarthy of Brooklyn, New York; grandson, Casey (Melissa) Ladiner of Berea, Ohio, granddaughter, Chanel (Danny) Ledford of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; grandson, Jake Chanley (Shylena) of Waldport, Oregon; and four great-grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harry Manner; her second husband, Bruce Hahn; sister, Janet (Weiss) Sessi; and two brothers, Kenneth Weiss and Ronald Weiss.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., January 13, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Selma with Pastor Monty Pope officiating.
