Jarred Keith Bennett

Jarred Bennett, age 50, of Grants Pass, passed away March 9, 2022 at his home.

The youngest of two, Jarred was born October 18, 1971 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Ron & Karen Bennett. He lived in Grants Pass all his life and attended Grants Pass High School. He graduated in 1990 and excelled in sports making varsity wrestling his freshman year and varsity football his sophomore year.

After high school he went to work in the computer field. He worked at his Indian tribe’s casino, Seven Feathers, where he helped to install their entire computer network.

Jarred was a member of the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indian Tribe. He loved trips to the coast, deep sea fishing, and his cat Bella. He also had a unique sense of humor.

He was our big guy with a kind heart. He was a beloved son, brother, and nephew. He will be dearly missed.

Jarred is survived by his parents Ron & Karen Bennett; sister Pam Shier; daughter Kaitlyn Lee; and auntie Maureen “MoMo” Davis.
