Janet Ruth Koppen

Janet Ruth Koppen, 68, of Provolt, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at her home of lung cancer.

Services for family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Provolt Community Church with Pastor Russ Gibson officiating. Southern Oregon Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.

Janet was born September 29, 1938 in Inkster, Michigan, to Peter Richard Schneider and Ruth Evelyn Moore. In Los Angeles, California, she raised a son, Mark, of whom she was very proud. She later lived and worked in Westland and Plymouth, Michigan. After meeting her husband Richard, they married in 1997. In 2000 they moved to Provolt to enjoy life.

She enjoyed the outdoors, mountains, feeding birds, her garden, crocheting, and reading murder mysteries. She loved her friends, family, husband, her dog Murphy, and cats Pansy, Teddy Bear, and Mitsy. Her husband, friends and family that were so touched by her life will sorely miss her.

Survivors include her husband Richard, a son Mark, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her sister Phyllis survive her.
