James J Kesler

James J. Kesler, age 85, of Grants Pass, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012, in Grants Pass.

A small gathering is planned in the Spring. Hull and Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

James was born May 29, 1927, in Spokane, Washington, to Charles and Ruth Kesler. On August 20, 1948, he married Phyllis Bateman, who passed away in August of 2003. He served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in July of 1946. James and Phyllis moved to Grants Pass in January of 1987, from the Los Angeles area, where he worked as an engineer.

He enjoyed books, symphonic music, classic movies and his cat Koji-Ni.

Survivors include four daughters Kathleen Ruth Soulek; Jennifer Ann Huff, Valerie Lee Simon and Melanie James Wudl, and four grandchildren, Kent, Jeff, Henry and Adam.
