Jack V. Trevett, age 78, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, July 3, 2008 at his home.
A visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Ray Dochstader officiating. Private interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

Jack was born November 6, 1929 in Rockford, Iowa to Jasper & Clara Trevett. He lived in several Iowa towns. At the age of 17 he joined the United States Army and was stationed in the Panama for two years. Jack worked for several cabinet shops in southern California. In 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada he married Mary Owens. In 1968 he moved from Southern California to Grants Pass. Jack worked for several cabinet shops in Grants Pass. In 1976 he started Jack’s Custom Cabinets and Grandfather Clocks which he owned and operated until his retirement.
He loved bowling, golfing, and being with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Mary Trevett of Grants Pass; he is survived by three children, Al Trevett of Walnut, California; Karen Simon of Molokai, Hawaii, and Wayne Owens of Grants Pass; two sisters, Marlene Johansen of Phoenix and Jackie Hyder of Huntington Beach, California; two brothers, Kenwood Trevett and James Trevett both of Grants Pass; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jack Trevett Jr in 1995; a grandson, Jeffrey Trevett in 1995; a daughter, Sandra Owens in 2007; two brothers, Keith Trevett in 2002 and Don Trevett in 2008; his father, J.L. Trevett in 1985; and his mother, Clara Trevett in 2004.
