Jackie “Jack” Clark, 69, passed away on June 4, 2023, at his home in Cave Junction, Oregon. Jack was born July 28, 1953, in Grants Pass, Oregon, the son of Don and Jerrine Clark of Cave Junction. Jack is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda; son Clay and daughter McKenzie (Grant) Donnelly, grandsons Connor and Wesley Donnelly of Cave Junction, and daughters Shelley (Pedro) Sandoval and Mandy (Ryan) Holtz and 6 grandchildren, who live in Washington State. Also surviving Jack are his brother Don Joe (Steph) and sister Cheryl Winters, cousin Sandy Upton, many nieces and nephews, beloved family members, and close friends.
Jack was a lifetime timber worker, running heavy equipment which began at a young age with his family’s company, Clark Logging. In 1989 Jack went to work for Columbia Helicopter Logging and worked for them until his retirement in 2005. Jack was one of the best loader operators in the state of Oregon.
In his spare time in the 80’s Jack was a member of the PRCA as a professional Bull Rider. He and his friend and traveling companion Alan Wyatt traveled the circuit in Oregon and California.
Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, playing poker with his good friends at the Tycer Crossing Poker Club and caring for his Classic Car, a 1959 Studebaker Silverhawk.
Jack was preceded in death by his mother Jerrine Clark and his brother, Jerry Lee Clark.
