Ida Marie Blue

Ida Marie (Atchley) Blue passed away on December 7, 2007
in Redding, California while visiting her daughter.
Ida was born on March 5, 1923 in Gillham, Arkansas
to Graden “Doc” Atchley and Mabel Lena Mary Lowry.
Friends may pay their respects from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Wednesday,
December 12, 2007 at Illinois Valley Funeral Directors at 26569 Redwood Hwy, Cave Junction, Oregon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 10:00 am
at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel on Junction Avenue
in Cave Junction with Bishop Jack Brown presiding. Interment will
be at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point,
Oregon at 2:00 pm Thursday.
Ida was a life long Illinois Valley resident who was a
devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Ida is preceded in death by her beloved husband
George Pete Blue, Sr., her parents and sister Myrtle Gray,
brother Leon Atchley, granddaughter Keri Thompson and
granddaughter-in-law Wemkea Blue.
She is survived by her brother Robert Atchley, her four sons, George Jr. (Marva) Blue of Clearfield, Utah, Graden (Teri) Blue of Roseburg, Oregon, Jerry Blue of Yelm, Washington, and Pete (Heidi) Blue of
Medford, Oregon. Her five daughters, Diane (Ron) Tresham
of Wasilla, Alaska, Mary (Jack) Maloney of Shasta Lake,
California, Elizabeth (Jim) Martin of Pima, Arizona,
Rita (Bob) Phair of Central Point, Oregon, and Thelma (Troy)
Campbell of Pangburn, Arkansas. She is also survived by 39
grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
