Ida Dysert, 78, of Grants Pass, died Monday, August 6, 2007 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time in Lookingglass, Oregon. Southern Oregon Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.

She was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon on January 21, 1929 to Viola and Jeff Bradshaw. She graduated from Union High School No. 2 in Sweet Home, Oregon in 1946. She lived in Oregon all her life and grew up in the Willamette Valley. Ida married Wallace Dysert on July 3, 1952. Wallace preceded her in death on March 6, 1994 after 42 years of marriage. They moved to Southern Oregon in the late 1950’s where they owned a Western Auto Store in Ashland, Oregon. The moved to Grants Pass in 1966.

Ida was in accounting all her adult life beginning in high school. She was an office manager for the Floyd Githens Ford Dealership in Cottage Grove, Oregon and office manager for Rogue River Hardware Furniture & Appliance until the store was sold in 1987 and continued in her home until 2003.

She was a member of the Emblem Club in Grants Pass, Oregon, where she held offices including Past President.

She enjoyed fishing, RV camping, the Oregon Coast, her family, her roses and friends.

Survivors include, Chester Bradshaw of Sutherlin; and Jeff Bradshaw of Toledo, Oregon; two daughters, Leslie Antley and husband Mike of Eugene; and Patricia Klassen and husband Bruce of Grants Pass; four grandchildren, Katie Candeaux of Portland; Julie Lowery of Coppell, Texas; Kristine Rowan of Maryland; and Keegan McDonald of Eugene; and three great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Joyce Olson and Betty Ransom.
