Herb "Pa" Mills

Herb “Pa” Mills, age 80, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Laural Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after his 80th birthday.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2009 at Hull & Hull Chapel. A graveside service will be at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Carpinteria, Cemetery in Carpinteria, California. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Herb was born June 1, 1929 in Marshfield, Oregon. On February 22, 1952 in Phoenix, Arizona he married Jo Reta (Armstrong). Herb was a devoted giving person often volunteering to cook for others. He loved all and was loved by all. As he leaves us we have the solace in knowing he’s again with the woman, Jo Reta, whom he loved.

He is survived by two sons, David Mills, and his wife, Pam and Gary Mills, and his wife, April; three granddaughters, Amber, Brooke and Cassie and a grandson, Jonathan.
