Helen Linnea Price

Helen Linnea Price, age 78, of Rogue River, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Rogue Valley Community Church in Rogue River with Pastor Dan O’Donnell officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Helen was born December 10, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Rudolph & Linnea Johnson. She met the love of her life, Richard A. Price and they were married May 10, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois. For her career, she was an executive school secretary. She moved from Victorville, California to Oregon and first spent a few years in Crooked River. She moved to Rogue River 19 years ago.

Helen volunteered her time with the Good News Club of her church and with the Smart Reading Program.

Helen loved her family. She was an avid reader, landscape artist, and an accomplished writer. She loved to go the coast and enjoyed traveling to Mexico and British Columbia.

She is survived by a sister, Carlene Pajong; four daughters, Sharon Robinson, Marsha Winzeler, Heidi Brito, and Sheila Cisneros; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, whom she all loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph & Linnea Johnson; her husband, Richard; and her son, Mark Price.
