Helen Jean Helm

Helen Jean Helm, age 93, of Grants Pass, died July 27, 2018 at Norris Manor.

Helen was born May 26, 1925 in Whittier, California to Earl & Eunice Wise. She grew up in Los Angeles with her parents and older sister. She worked in banking in downtown Los Angeles where she met, Floyd Helm and they were married on November 10, 1946. Together they moved from California to Grants Pass in 1962 where she worked for First National Bank and later First Interstate Bank until her retirement.

Helen was a member of Calvary Church on Midway Avenue.

She enjoyed traveling, quilting and time spent with her family.

Survivors include three children, Robert Helm of Grants Pass, Oregon, and Lloyd Helm and Susan Jordan both of Vancouver, Washington; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Helm; and her sister, Ruth Connally.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 10, 2018 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Private interment was held at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
