Helen Carlton

Helen Carlton, age 83, of Wolf Creek, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Spring Pointe.

A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Wolf Creek Community Center.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 at Granite Hill Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Helen was born March 11, 1928 in Ruble, Missouri to William & Lena Nanney. She grew up in Missouri and on February 4, 1946 in Mountain View, Missouri she married Clifford Lee Carlton. They lived in Washington State until moving to Wolf Creek in 1954.

Helen was a crafter and also enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening.

Helen is survived by two daughters, Loeta Older of Grants Pass, Oregon and Brenda Barber of Wolf Creek, Oregon; two sons, Jim Carlton of Glendale, Oregon and Dennis Carlton of Wolf Creek, Oregon; ten grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Luen Dwain Carlton on March 28, 1952; her husband, Clifford Carlton on April 10, 2005 and a grandson, Scott Carlton on December 21, 2011.
