Harriet Leigh Davies

Harriet Leigh Davies, age 69, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Harriet was born August 25, 1944 in Dallas, Texas to Peter Cangemi and Rosalie Smith. She was raised by Charles & Frieda Smith. Harriet moved to San Mateo in her early years and graduated from San Mateo High School in 1962. After graduating, she owned and operated “The Ladies” a wall paper hanging partnership from 1975 to 1995. She moved to Grants Pass in 1986.

Her hobbies included needlepoint, quilting, tole-painting, reading, and decorating.

Survivors include her husband, James Waltz of Grants Pass, Oregon; two children, Erin Manion of Grants Pass, Oregon, and Craig Hayes of San Francisco, California; two sisters, Colleen Dilg of Redwood City, California, and Ann O’Roarke of Fort Wayne Indiana; six brothers, Pete Cangemi of Grant Township Michigan, Mike Cangemi of Bangor, Maine, Mark Cangemi of Minnesota and Rick Devlin of Salt Lake City, Utah, David Devlin of Eagle River, Alaska, and Robert Devlin of San Francisco, California.
