It is with mixed emotions that we share

Harland Kent Sparks

 born April 1,1946

 peacefully departed this world 

January 14, 2024 

leaving his beautiful home 

that he built special for his family. 

He is now in paradise.

Harland’s legacy is celebrated by his beloved family including his wife Julie of 50 years. 

His daughter Sabrina Kelly, granddaughter 

Makena Michele and grandson Quaid Kelly.

Stephanie and Justin Miller, 

granddaughter Haley and Omar Bautista,

 grandsons Kyle and Colton Miller.

Harland is quite well, in fact, alive and well,

 getting a head start on eternity with God

 in His glorious kingdom.

If you know Harland, you will know every conversation is mixed with humor and sincerity, love and kindness, endearing him to all.

The love he has for his family is indescribable. 

Always selfless and humble,

 he is always ready for the next adventure.

From motorcycles to boating, snow skiing, to skydiving,

 camping and fishing, it always involves his family

 making sweet life memories together.

Harland served his country in the Military from 

1966-1970 in the US Navy

 where he served 3 tours in Vietnam.

He is a man of integrity, with a humble loving spirit. 

To know him, is to love him.

A Celebration of Life will be held February 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Joy Church Medford.
