Grace Emily Little

Grace Emily Little, age 88, of Grants Pass, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2013.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church in Rogue River with Pastor Evan Goeglein officiating. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Grace was born to George & Jewell Coulter on September 16, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Washington University School of Nursing in St. Louis in June 1947. In April 1945, while still in training, she married Donald Little in Kearney, Nebraska. Several years later they moved to California and eventually settled in Santa Clara. She continued to work as a registered nurse while raising two children. Grace and Don retired to San Diego in 1981 and then moved to Grants Pass in 1987.

She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Rogue River.

Grace enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening and reading.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane Little of Pioneer, California; a grandson Robert “Bobby” Davis and his wife Desiree of Grants Pass and two great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Michael Davis of Grants Pass.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 64 years, Donald Little of Grants Pass in 2010; a daughter, Carol Davis of Grants Pass in 2005; a great-grandson, Dakota Davis of Grants Pass in 2007; her parents, two brothers and a sister.
