Glenna Christine Campbell Dole, 61, passed away at home in Grants Pass June 29th 2019 surrounded by her four children.
Glenna was born September 16th 1957 in Anchorage Alaska to Glenn and Gloria Campbell. She was the youngest of three sisters, both of whom cherished her dearly.
She was an integral part of the recovery community and served as an addiction counselor for close to two decades. She was known for her quick wit and ability to speak her mind even when it was unpopular. Glenna found her work with teens and young adults especially rewarding.
Some of Glenna’s favorite things included her morning coffee, reading a juicy book and/or Woman’s World magazine, walks along the Applegate river, and her children when they were behaving.
Glenna is survived by her four children, Courtney Campbell of Depoe Bay, Oregon; Alana Dole of Lawton, Oklahoma; Catherine Dole of Portland, Oregon; Alexander Dole of Grants Pass, Oregon and one very special asthmatic pug, Sophie Lee, also of Grants Pass. Five grandchildren, Conner Taylor, Campbell Breedlove, Maximus Villagomez, Veira Kouznetsov-Dole and Rylyn Villagomez. Her two sisters, Carla Archer of Waynesville, North Carolina and Paula Pettijohn of Palmer, Alaska.
