Glenn Wilder

Glenn Wilder, age 77, of Grants Pass, died December 22, 2023 at his home.

“Butch” was born August 13, 1946 in Shelbyville, Indiana.  As a child he moved with his family to California in 1958.  For four years he served in the United States Air Force.  In 1970 he moved from Azuza, California to Grants Pass where he raised his family.

Butch loved the outdoors and was a life-long member of the National Rifle Association and Sportsman’s Park.  He attended Merlin Community Baptist Church.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and playing bass guitar at church.

Survivors include three sons Shane Wilder, Aaron Wilder and Jonathan Wilder; three sisters Janet Belcher, Joyce Fanelli and Bev Archer; brother Marty Wilder; and six grandchildren.

Butch was a well-loved family man and friend.

A celebration of life will be on Sunday, January 14th at 3:00 p.m. at the Merlin Community Baptist Church.
