Gerald Butler of Rogue River died May 9th, 2017 at Highland House Nursing Facility in Grants Pass.
Gerald was born in Inglewood, California on March 3rd, 1938. He moved to Rogue River in 1976. For several years, he owned and operated Rogue Valley Lock and Key Service on D street in Grants Pass before having to give it up due to Parkinson’s disease.
He enjoyed sports and played with the Grants Pass Relics senior softball team in 1998.
Gerald is survived by his wife Rose Mary of Rogue River; son Christopher of Portland; daughters Ramona Grove and Monica Kramer and four grandchildren Brian, Amanda, Sean, and Sidney all of Washington state.
A funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 29, 2017 at Our Lady of the River Catholic Church in Rogue River with Father Karl Schray officiating.
