Gary Vance Ingram

Gary Vance Ingram, age 81, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

No services are planned. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Gary was born November 3, 1928 in Stockton, California. He graduated from Stockton High School in 1946 and later attended one year of college at the College of San Mateo. On December 23, 1950 in Stockton, California he married Dorothy J. Casteel. From 1967 to 1988 he owned and operated Picus Industries in Portland. In 1988 he moved from Portland to Grants Pass.

His hobbies included prospecting and fishing. He was also a ham radio operator.

Survivors include a daughter, Jane Ingram of Portland; three sons, James Ingram and Gary Ingram, Jr. , both of Portland and Roger Ingram of Vancouver, Washington; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ingram in 1985.
