Gary Reid

Gary Reid, age 69, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Private services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Gary Reid was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to his family. He was a transmission mechanic at Columbia Helicopters for 39 years. He retired at age 63. Gary and Casey were married in 1995. They would have celebrated their 20th anniversary on April 21st. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Gary was a selfless man that always put his family first.
Gary moved from Canby, Oregon to Grants Pass two years ago.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, windsurfing, riding Harley Davidsons, golfing and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Casey Reid of Grants Pass; two daughters, Breann Melvin of Eugene, Oregon and Michelle Shippy of Grants Pass, Oregon; two son-in-law’s, Ben Melvin of Eugene, Oregon and Curt Shippy of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Judy Lamoureaux of San Antonio, Texas and ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
