Garrett “Gary” Bloemendaal, age 52, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at his home.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Gary was born May 12, 1958 in Whittier, California. At the age of four, he moved with his family to Grants Pass and grew up on the family dairy farm. On April 3, 1990 in Grants Pass he married Lisa Chadwell. He worked as a truck driver for Swift Trucking.
His hobbies included working on his older model trucks and making fish out of soap stone. He especially enjoyed being with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Bloemendaal of Grants Pass, Oregon; a son, Josh Rohde of Ashland, Oregon; his mother, Jeanette Petruzzi of Grants Pass, Oregon; his father, Bert Bloemendaal of Seattle, Washington; a brother, Deon Bloemendaal of Grants Pass, Oregon; three sisters, Renee Wallace of Grants Pass, Oregon, Amy Saylor of Portland, Oregon and Valorie Moore of Anchorage, Alaska; two nephews, Tony Wallace of Newhall, California and Julian Moore of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and a niece, Whitney Moore of Anchorage, Alaska.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Bloemendaal and a sister, Cynthia D. Bloemendaal.
