Freddie Jo Merchant

Freddie Jo Merchant, age 66, of Cave Junction, died Thursday, August 16, 2012 at her home.

Private services are planned. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Freddie was born January 10, 1946 in Big Spring, Texas. In 1989 she moved to the Illinois Valley.

Freddie was especially good at remembering birthdays and everyone she knew received a telephone call from her on their birthday. She loved the beauty of the Illinois Valley.

She is survived by two brothers, Larry and Wayne; a sister, Dee Dee and numerous friends who loved her.

She will be sorely missed.
