Frank T. Watanabe

Frank T. Watanabe, age 83, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Family services will be held. Remembrances may be made to any humane society.

Frank was born April 3, 1925 in Armona, California to Takeshi & Seki Watanabe. From September 1944 to November 1946 he served in the United States Army during World War II. In 1969 he married Marge Leonard, who preceded him in death. He worked as a service writer for Magnuson Dealership in Redwood City, California. In 1980 he moved from Mountain View, California he moved from Mountain View, California to Grants Pass because of his love for fishing.

His hobbies included steelhead and salmon fishing, golfing, and refinishing and repairing fine furniture. He loved his dogs and cats.

Survivors include a son, Bob Watanabe of San Jose, California and numerous nieces and nephews.
