Frank Higgins

Frank “Bud” Higgins, age 83, of Rogue River, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Providence Medford Medical Center.

A memorial graveside service will be at 12:00 noon, Friday, May 2, 2008 at Woodville Cemetery in Rogue River. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Remembrances may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars, 410 E Main Street, Rogue River, Oregon 97537.

Bud was born May 7, 1924 in San Diego, California where he was raised and attended schools. During World War II he served in the United States Coast Guard. He retired as a heavy equipment mechanic for San Diego County after 17 years. In 1996 he moved from Utah to Rogue River.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Rogue River and the Catfish Cove Club in Prospect.

He especially enjoyed short trips to the Oregon coast.

Survivors include his son, Larry Higgins of Rogue River and two grandchildren.
