Francoise "Frannie" Dorsey

Francoise “Frannie” Dorsey, age 59, of Grants Pass, died Friday, November 12, 2010 of cancer at her daughter’s home.

A private memorial service will be held at Union Creek at a later date. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Frannie was born November 16, 1950 in Orleans, France. In 1957 she traveled on the Queen Mary to New York. Frannie attended St Joseph Academy in New Orleans, Louisiana and then moved to California to attended Carmel High in Carmel. In 1975 at Whales Cove, Oregon, she married Terry Dorsey, who survives.

Frannie was a kind, gentle person who loved to spend time in the mountains and at the ocean. She loved camping, fishing, gardening, animals and the sun.

Survivors include her husband, Terry L. Dorsey of Phoenix, Oregon; a daughter, Angelyne Harley of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sons, Nathan Dorsey and James Dorsey both of Medford, Oregon; a sister, Michele Morris of Sonora, California and six grandchildren.
