Francis Ferdinand "Mike" Rosehart

Francis Ferdinand “Mike” Rosehart, age 93, of Grants Pass, died peacefully Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Countryside Village.

A memorial mass will be at 12 Noon, Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father William Holtzinger officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A celebration of life will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Countryside Village. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Grants Pass Family YMCA, 1000 Redwood Avenue, Grants Pass, Oregon 97527 or a charity of choice.

He was born May 6, 1919 in LaSalette, Ontario, Canada the son of G. Raymond Rosehart & Clara (McElhone) Rosehart.

He is survived by his 20 nieces and nephews and their families as well as many close friends in Grants Pass and the caring community of Countryside Village which has been his home for the past six years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marion “Marie” Rosehart in 1991; five sisters, Rita McCready in 2000, Loretto Murray in 2000, Veronica Devine in 1999, Catherine McDonald in 1995, and Mary Devine in 1991; and four brothers, Raymond in 2005, Theodore in 1982, Charlie in 1977, and John in 1973.

The family is appreciative of the dedicated care given to Ferdinand from the Countryside Village staff and to Chalis Mann and the other assisted living area Aides; and to Lovejoy Hospice for their essential and compassionate service.
