Francine was born July 25, 1946 in Eugene, Oregon to Forrest & Dorothy (Goins) Moak. In 1956 she moved from Douglas County, Oregon to Grants Pass. Francine worked as a gardener at Greenleaf Industries in Grants Pass and was one of their first employees.
Francine was a member of the Greenleaf Gardeners 4H Club and always looked forward to the annual Greenleaf retreat.
She enjoyed collecting ceramic dolls and unique stuffed animals and also enjoyed plants and gardening. Francine was not only a gardener and doll collector, she was a proud lady with a deep interest in genealogy. She especially took much pride in knowing she was a descendant through her father's blood of a great Shawnee Chief named Hokolesqua. Francine, just like her beloved father Forrest, was very proud of her Native ancestry.
