Frances Allen Thompkins

Frances was born on August 3, 1919 in Takilma, Oregon to George and Irene Allen. She was raised and educated there and at Kirby Union High School where she graduated with top honors in 1937. She married Gene Foster Thompkins that same year on December 13.
Most of her married life was spent at Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe. Gene died in 1978 in Lake City, Modoc Co. where they retired to. After Gene’s death she moved to Montana to join her four boys.

She was preceded in death by her son Greg and eldest son Jerry and survived by sons
Dennis and Andy, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. We all loved her deeply.
