Forrest Anthony Angwin, 25 of Grants Pass, OR, passed away on April 12, 2023 during a downhill mountain bike race in Ashland, OR.
Forrest was born on February 10, 1998 to Forrest G. Angwin III, and Karensa Hawley in Medford, OR. He attended Fruitdale Elementary, Lincoln Savage Middle School, Hidden Valley High School, Grants Pass High School and graduated from El Cajon High School in 2016.
In 2022, Forrest met Cheyenne Crowl and began to build their life together, with plans of getting married and growing their family. He gracefully took on the role of dad, to Cheyenne’s son, Logan.
Forrest was a true southern Oregon kid, hardworking and always looking for adventure. He had an irresistible smile, made friends with anyone that crossed his path, and was known by most as “Sawdust”. He was an avid enthusiast of many different hobbies: Muay Thai, everything automotive, mountain biking, welding/fabrication, and as his dad would say, all around redneckery.
Forrest is preceded in death by his sister, Karlee. He is survived by his father, Chip, mother, Karensa, stepmother, Lisa, stepfather, JD, and his siblings: Andrew, Brandon, Emily, Katie, and Brittnee.
