Felix Emfinger, age 79, of Grants Pass died Thursday, June 18, 2009 at his home.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Calvary Lutheran Church with Pastor David Johnsen officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Felix was born October 20, 1929 in Bard, California to Felix Emfinger Sr & Ervema Emfinger. He lived in Lamont, California until 1950 when he moved to Klamath Falls and then to Grants Pass in 1954. He worked for the highway department before becoming a building contractor in 1960. He built the first of a series of cabins at the entrance of Crater Lake, but spent most of his time on custom homes and commercial building in Grants Pass. He retired to help manage property for LeMoss Enterprises.
Felix attended Redwood Christian Church and Calvary Lutheran Church of which he worked on remodels for both buildings. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon LeMoss-Emfinger; a blended family of children, Donna Emfinger, Danny Emfinger, Christine Doty, Lydia Fields, Sarrah LeMoss, Vaughn LeMoss, Darren LeMoss and Nathan LeMoss; a sister, Eva Mae Gage; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Laverna Emfinger; and a sister, Rosalie Conrad.
