Eunice Glee Garrigus

Eunice Glee (Burke) Garrigus, age 80, of Grants Pass, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at home after a long battle with COPD and cancer.

Eunice was born June 4, 1936 in Laurel, Oregon to George & Florence Burke. She finished her schooling at Forest Grove High School. On June 10, 1955 in Alamogordo, New Mexico she married Jeptha Garrigus. She resided in many places throughout her husband’s 20-year Air Force career. During that time, they had two children. In 1980 they moved from Sams Valley to Grants Pass.

Eunice loved her family, tending to her flower gardens and watching birds. She also enjoyed crocheting and painting.

She was a hospital volunteer during the Viet Nam Era.

Eunice is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jeptha Garrigus; son, Jeffrey Garrigus (Billie); daughter, Pamela Kinkaid (Brian); grandchildren, Kaine Marosz (Nancy), Gregory Garrigus (Tracy), Samantha (Shaun); and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Evan, Lauryn, Kyle and Kobi.

Private services will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
