Esther Dianne Webb

Esther Dianne Webb, age 74, of Cave Junction, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2011 at Laurel Cemetery in Cave Junction. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Esther was born September 7, 1936 in Downey, California to Fred Buhler & Kathleen Bryant Buhler. In 1947 she moved with her family from Downey to Cave Junction where she attended Kerby Union High School. On June 27, 1953 in Grants Pass, Oregon she married James R. Webb. In the early 1960s for a short time she worked at the Airport Caf and the Junction Inn. She was a dedicated homemaker to her family.

Her hobbies included baking pies, reading, and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include four daughters, Jana Fincher, Cindy Hanscom, Robin Webb, and Linda Quall all of Cave Junction, Oregon; a son, Robert Edwin Webb of Winston, Oregon; three sisters, Dorothy Bierbower of Cave Junction, Oregon, Dolores Karns of California, and Joan Ellis of Cave Junction, Oregon; a brother, Robert Buhler of Cave Junction, Oregon; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a brother, Irving Leigh.
