Esther Adelaide Lee (Davis)

Esther Adelaide Lee (Davis) passed away in Gold Beach, Oregon on 13 May, 2008 in her home at the age of 81. She was born on February 12, 1927 in Mayville, North Dakota to August and Ellen Hallin. Her parents then moved to a farm in Clearbrook, Minnesota. She moved to Rapid City, South Dakota after high school. This is where she met and married Milford L. Davis. They were married on February 5, 1947. Esther and Milford (Dave) moved around the country for 20 years with the Air Force. He passed away on December 26, 1989. They had four boys. Esther worked for the National Forest Service in Burns, Brookings, and Gold Beach, Oregon retiring after 20+ years. After Milford’s death she was reunited with her high school sweetheart, Frederick Lee. They were married in 1994, fifty years after high school. Fred and Esther made their home in Battle Creek, Michigan and spent their summers at Gold Beach, Oregon. Fred passed away from a heart attack in 1997. They had three wonderful years together. She then moved back permanently to Gold Beach. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

Children: William L. Davis, Robert J. Davis, Richard J. Davis and Joseph D. Davis (Bill, Bob, Jim and Joe).
Brothers: Gunter Hallin and William Hallin.

Grandchildren: 11 Great Grandchildren: 7
