Ervin Grant “Calley” Sellers, age 58, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Foots Creek Chapel. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Calley was born July 31, 1951 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Bill & Florence Sellers. He grew up in Tulelake, California and graduated from Tulelake High School. During his younger years he was active in FFA, taxidermy, and bull riding. He graduated from Southern Oregon College in Ashland with bachelors and masters degrees in Political Science.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge. He was heavily involved in local politics; was a handicap advocate and supporter; and a supporter of Good Will.
His hobbies included fishing, hunting, crossword puzzles, and talking politics.
Survivors include a son, Curtis Sellers; a sister, Cindi Sellers; several nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ed Sellers and Norman Sellers.
