Eric Tyler Lengel

Eric Tyler Lengel, age 15, of Grants Pass, died Monday, January 17, 2011 at his home.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Jerome Prairie Bible Church with Pastor James Downing officiating. A celebration of life will follow at Juli’s home. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Eric was born November 16, 1995 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. In 1997 he moved to Grants Pass where he attended Parkside Elementary School and then Grants Pass High School’s Special Education Program. All through school, Eric’s job was to deliver snack and lunch to his classmates. Eric loved learning new challenges like folding clothes and computer work, but most of all he loved his teachers at GPHS.

Eric loved music, especially Barney; eating; traveling in the car; and walks in his stroller.

Survivors include his father, Richard Lengel and step-mom, Molly; his mother, Juli Lengel; a sister, Andrea Lengel, step-brother, Brigger all of Grants Pass, Oregon; paternal grandfather, Ted Lengel of LaVerne, California; maternal grandparents, Fay Lawson and Larry Lawson of Monmouth, Oregon; maternal grandparents, Vernon & Ethel Gibney of Salem, Oregon; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
