Emily May Woolsey

Emily Woolsey, age 92, of Grants Pass, died April 18, 2022 at her home.

Emily was born May 21, 1929 in Central Point, Oregon to William & Mae Nutter. On May 31, 1948 at Grants Pass City Hall she married Darrell Woolsey. She lived her entire life in Grants Pass and raised two daughters.

Emily worked as a bookkeeper and tax preparer. And she donated her free time to family and community whenever she could.

She is survived by daughters Myrna Cournoyer of Carlsbad, New Mexico and Marla Watson of Grants Pass; sister Mary Ragsdill of Medford; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Darrell; four brothers; and her parents.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
