Elizabeth A. "Betty" Stephenson

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Stephenson, age 77, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A memorial graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Betty was born February 10, 1937 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Edward & Bertha (Finney) Bennett. In 1955 she graduated from Grants Pass High School. On October 1, 1966 she married Gordon B. Stephenson and worked as a housewife raising four children. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Betty was loved by all that knew her.

Betty enjoyed crafting, frequenting yard sales, gardening, camping with her husband and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by four children, Michel Stephenson of Grants Pass, Oregon, Gordon “Skip” Stephenson Jr. of Grants Pass, Oregon, Patricia Barnes of Medford, Oregon and Barbara Biles-Hernandez of Santee, California; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Stephenson.
