Eleanor Ann Coey

Eleanor Ann Coey, 80, Cave Junction, Oregon passed Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at home with her family.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:30PM, Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the Illinois Valley Baptist Church, located at the Josephine County Building in Cave Junction, Oregon with Pastor Steve Root leading. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 14, 1931 in Menomonie, Wisconsin. She owned and co-owned several businesses in California until her retirement. In 2002, she moved from Modesto, California to Cave Junction, Oregon.

She enjoyed fishing from her boat on the Central California Delta, cooking, gardening, dancing, raising pigs, and caring for her animals.

Survived by daughter Linda May, brother Robert, and grandchildren Amber and Stacy, granddaughter-in-law Deborah, great-grandchildren Kaitlyn and Kimberly, and friend Wayne.

She is preceded in death by her children Betty Ann and Tony Lee, sisters Lavone, Bonita, Lucille, and brothers James and Dwayne, husbands Poney Lee, Herschel, and Edwin.
