Edna Mae Scott, age 102, of Rogue River, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Morrow Heights.
A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral directors are in charge of arrangements.
Edna was born on December 21, 1907 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to William & Elmira Van. She was raised and graduated from high school in Pennsylvania and later attended Cambria Business College. On August 19, 1925 in Johnstown, she married Bill Yehnert and they later divorced. In November of 1944 in Akron, Ohio she married Floyd Scott who preceded her in death in 1959. For a few years she worked for Good Year Aircraft and for 20 years she worked as a dispatcher in Law Enforcement. In 1978 she moved from Benson, Arizona to Grants Pass. She then married Roy Scott in 1984, who preceded her in death in 1987. For the past 20 years she lived with Lynn (granddaughter) and her husband Tom Dickerson and their children Scott and Danielle Dickerson in Rogue River.
She attended the Assembly of God Church in Grants Pass and was active in Lamplighters for many years.
Her hobbies included crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include a daughter Billie Scott of Anchorage, Alaska; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Harry Yehnert; a daughter, Edna Yehnert; a great-great-granddaughter, Esther Marchetti and a great-great-grandson, Jacob Marchetti.
