Edith L. Pedrick

Edith Loraine Fredenburg - Pedrick passed away on Tuesday, Jan.31,2012, at Norris Manor foster home in Grants Pass. She was 91 years old.

Edie was born on October 19,1920 in Holland MI. to Will and Tilly Lindsay. She attended local schools there, and in 1941 married John V. Fredenburg. They had three children. In 1953 they moved to Arizona, and on to Orange County, in Southern Calif. in 1955. She worked as a dental assistant and then in a doctor's front office. In 1957 her husband died as a result of an industrial accident.

For many years she worked as a personal secretary for an administrator at Bertea Corp. in Calif. During this time she visited and fell in love with the Applegate Valley here in southern Oregon, and in 1972 was able to move to Williams. She was active in the Applegate Community Church for many years. She was also involved in the Williams Home Owners Association. In December, 1993 she married Harold Pedrick of Williams, and together they enjoyed dancing at the Senior Center, and taking cruises. Harold passed away in 2003.

Edie is survived by 2 daughters, Lynn Kiser of Williams, and Gale Owen of Grants Pass. One son, John Fredenburg of Williams and their families. And, a brother, Bob Lindsay of Grants Pass. She has 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by a son, Donald, in 1991 and her sister Ruth before that.

Private family services will be held.
