Earl Allen Waggoner

Earl Allen Waggoner, age 82, of Murphy, died Tuesday, April 24, at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 4, 2007 at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Earl was born March 18, 1925 in Hemet, California. He grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana where he graduated from La Grand High School. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II as a Flight Engineer in the Air Transport Command in the Pacific. After World War II he lived in San Jacinto, California and met and married Donna and moved to Grants Pass in 1949. He worked as a painter, home builder and in excavation and fabrication.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, flying airplanes, and making all sorts of things, and his 2 sons went along always.

Survivors include his two sons, Tracy Waggoner and Reginald “Reggie” Waggoner; 2 grandchildren, Cassandra and Ryan.

Preceding him in death was his former wife, Donna.
