Duane William Schultz

Duane William Schultz, age 74, of Grants Pass, died December 14, 2019 at Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland.

Duane was born September 14, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa and later earned his law degree from Arizona State University. He moved to Grants Pass in the early 1970s and first started practicing law in Grants Pass in 1974. He currently worked with Watkinson Laird Rubenstein attorneys.

Survivors include his wife, Celia Schultz of Grants Pass, Oregon; children Mindi & John Rich of Corvallis, Oregon, Rhet & Gretchen Schultz of Prineville, Oregon, Jed & Kimberly Schultz of Phoenix, Arizona, Darla & Joe Smith of McMinnville, Oregon and Shelley & Brian Penny of Portland, Oregon; and grandchildren Alex Rich, Brinn Rich, Corenne Schultz, Sydney Schultz, Corey Duran, Katryna Powell, Josie Smith, Wyatt Smith, Colton Smith, Celia Penny and Mitchell Penny.

A family gathering will be held at a later date.
