Dorothy Lee Lopez, age 74, of Glendale, died February 24, 2019 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.
Dorothy grew up and attended school in Arkansas. She married and had two sons, Charles and Wayne and two daughters, Laura and Theresa. She met and married Patrick (Larry) Lopez in August of 1983. They spent many happy years as rock hounds, traveling many states. They enjoyed making and selling artistic items of leather and stones at Pow Wows and flea markets. They moved to Glendale, Oregon to care for her invalid uncle Charles Pitts.
Dorothy loved cats and enjoyed working with beads and selling miscellaneous items. She was a very intelligent person on a variety of subjects such as plants, rocks, and even Bible history.
She was a real friend to many in need, generous, and affectionate, always ready to help.
Dorothy had been sick and suffering for a long time and often said she was ready to go to heaven. She died peacefully with her husband at her side.
She will be sorely missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends.
