Dorothea M. Savage

Dorothea M. Savage, age 89, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Private interment will be at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford, Oregon. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Dorothea was born April 14, 1922 in Pocatello, Idaho to Thomas & Loula Duncan. On November 23, 1960 she married William E. Savage, who preceded her in death. She moved to Grants Pass over 40 years ago. For many years, she worked for as a State Farm Insurance agent.

Dorothea was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Redwood Ward.

She especially enjoyed her career. She was a very special person and an amazing grandmother.

Survivors include a son, Carl Gustafson of Reno, Nevada; a granddaughter, Gail L. Gustafson and a great-granddaughter, Schae L. Gustafson, both of Redding California.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Gustafson in June 1996.
