Doris Ellen Cline

Doris Ellen Cline, age 83, of Grants Pass, Oregon, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:45 a.m. due to cancer in Grants Pass.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Shan Creek Community Bible Church in Grants Pass. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Doris was born October 4, 1931 in Green Tree, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, to George Erret Cline & Eliza Mae (Travis) Cline. She graduated from Grants Pass High School, Class of 1948. Doris was an accountant for Gaylord Tice in Grants Pass. In 1952 she relocated to Southern California, living first in Inglewood and then in Glendale working in Los Angeles as an insurance accountant. In 1985 she moved from Glendale to Grants Pass.

She was a member of the Grants Pass Gem and Geology Club, and Insurance Women of America.

Her hobbies included collecting rocks and fossils and writing poems.

Survivors include a sister, Freda M. Lee; two brothers, Wallace E. Cline and James H. Cline all of Grants Pass, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, George E. Cline & E. Mae Cline; two brothers, E. Bruce Cline and Winston A. Cline; and a sister, Patricia M. Germann
