Donald W. Higby

Donald W. Higby, age 68, of Grants Pass, passed away on Thursday, December 19th, 2013 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2013 at Live Oak Grange, 120 Gardiner Street, Rogue River, Oregon. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Donald was born on January 6th 1945 in Stockton California to William and Alice Higby who preceded him in death. Don left behind his two sisters Lynne Higby of Pasadena California and Therese Langlois of Grants Pass Oregon, his two daughters Carrie York and Megan Bless and five grandchildren all of Rogue River Oregon.

Don moved to Rogue River in 1978 with his family from Southern California. He had worked in construction for 40 years when he retired and was able to travel full time.

Don loved spending time with family and the outdoors. He was an avid scuba diver and loved spending time on the river fishing and rowing his boat.
