Don Casperson, age 80, of Grants Pass, died Friday, November 11, 2011 (Veteran’s Day) at his home.
Private family services will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Don was born August 18, 1931 in Moorhead, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He moved from Altadena, California to Grants Pass in 1971. He was a millwright for Sierra Pacific for 30 years.
Don was a founding member of the Rogue Valley Old Volks and Folks Club and enjoyed driving his kitcar on the cruises.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working on clocks.
Survivors include a son, David of Grants Pass; three daughters, Karen Laursen of Grants Pass, Joann Neumaier of Sacramento, California and Janice Beutler of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two sisters, Mary Moomey of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Myrna Madsen of Moorhead, Iowa; two brothers, Lloyd Casperson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kenny Casperson of Ute, Iowa; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne in 2006.
