Donald Raymond Reum

Donald Raymond Reum, age 83, of Grants Pass, died Monday, January 16, 2012 at his home.

A viewing will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2012 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Gene Simmons officiating. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.

Don was born June 15, 1928 in Plaza, North Dakota. During World War II he served in the United States Army. He worked for Buck Shaw and then Davison Redimix. Since 1972 Don worked as a general contractor. On June 2, 1973 in Reno, Nevada he married his wife, Rosemarie.

For 25+ years Don was a member of B.P.O.Elks.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, horses, spending time in Eastern Oregon; and most especially time spent with family.

In addition to his wife, Rosemarie Reum of Grants Pass, Oregon; Don is survived by a daughter, Dianne Reum; two sons, David Reum and Darrel Reum all of Grants Pass, Oregon; stepchildren, Cindy Russell of Portland, Oregon and Christy Mickelson of Happy Valley, Oregon and John Jones of Grants Pass, Oregon; two brothers, Gordon McGriff of Grants Pass, Oregon and Jim McGriff of Tigard, Oregon; nine grandchildren, Davey, Dusty, Tyler, April, Andrew, Andi, Melissa, Robert, and Alishia; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Fran Throne and a stepdaughter, Laura Lee Russell.
