Donald Jerry Brooks

Donald Jerry Brooks, age 77, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Fair View Transitional Care Center.

No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

He was born April 25, 1934 in Worth, West Virginia. He served in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. After his military service he settled in Venice, California. Most of his employment years were spent in Silicon Valley, San Jose, California at the beginning of the electronic age frenzy. In 1999 he relocated to Oregon.

Survivors include a brother, Roger Brooks of Simi Valley, California; four children from his second marriage, Greg Brooks of Boulder, Colorado, Steven Brooks, Terri Collins-Bain and Jana D. Gunn all of Grants Pass, Oregon; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
