Diana Faye Cataldo

Diana Faye Cataldo, age 67, died Thursday, January 20, 2011 in her hometown of Sunny Valley, Oregon.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2011 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Diana was born April 6, 1943 in San Francisco, California to Dennis & Velva Miller. She was raised in Mountain Home, Idaho. Diana met and married her husband Richard L. Cataldo. Diana wanted nothing more than to be a wonderful wife and devoted mother. She had five children and in their best interest she decided to move her family to Sunny Valley, Oregon in 1978. She lived the rest of her wonderful life in what she would say was her “heaven”.

Diana especially loved spending time with her family, friends and many others that she played a special role in their life. This was her favorite pastime. Diana also enjoyed raising exotic birds, playing Bingo, and playing games with her family and friends.

Survivors include three daughters, Gina Painter, Michelle Shackelford, and Makila Elwood all of Sunny Valley, Oregon; two sons, Richard A. Cataldo of Rogue River, Oregon and Anthony Cataldo of Merlin, Oregon; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Cataldo in 2007.
